How ITW Collects and Uses Your Information
ITW may collect certain types of information about you during use of the App as set forth below. In general,ITW collects this information in order to: – determine when and how often you visit the App; – provide custom, personalized content and information; – to provide and monitor the effectiveness of our App; – monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, traffic, and demographic patterns; – diagnose or fix technology problems; – help you efficiently access your information after you sign in; – to provide advertising to your browser or device, and – automatically update the App on your mobile devices
ITW may ask for certain information such as your real name, phone number and e-mail address when you fill out a lead or warranty form, or if you correspond with them. ITW may also retain any messages you send through the App, and may collect information you provide in User Content you post to the App. ITW uses this information to operate, maintain, and provide to you the features and functionality of the App. ITW will NOT publish your personal information publicly nor will sell your personal information to third party companies.
ITW may directly collect analytics data or use third-party analytics tools and services to help us measure traffic and usage trends for the App. These tools collect information sent by your browser or mobile device, including the pages you visit and other information that assists ITW in improving the App. ITW collects and uses this analytics information in aggregate form so that no individual user can be identified from the set of data.
When you use the App, it may send one or more cookies – a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your device that uniquely identifies the browser in your device and lets ITW help you log in faster and enhance your navigation through the site. A cookie may also convey information to ITW about how you use the App (e.g., the pages you view, the links you click and other actions you take on the App), and allow us to track your usage of the App over time. In some cases, a persistent cookie remains on your hard drive after you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser’s directions. A session cookie is temporary and disappears after you close your browser. You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, some features of the App may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.
Log file information:
ITW may also collect log file information automatically reported by your browser or mobile device when you access the App. When you use the App, ITW servers automatically record certain log file information. These server logs may include anonymous information such as your web request, Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on the App, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information.
When you access the App by or through a mobile device (including but not limited to smart-phones or tablets), ITW may access, collect, monitor and/or remotely store one or more “device identifiers,” such as a universally unique identifier (“UUID”). Device identifiers are small data files or similar data structures stored on or associated with your mobile device, which uniquely identify your mobile device. A device identifier may be data stored in connection with the device hardware, data stored in connection with the device’s operating system or other software, or data sent to the device by ITW. A device identifier may convey information to ITW about how you browse and use the App. A device identifier may remain persistently on your device to help you log in faster and enhance your navigation through the App. Some features of the App may not function properly if use or availability of device identifiers is impaired or disabled.
When you access the App by or through a mobile device, ITW may access, collect, monitor and/or remotely store “location data,” which may include GPS coordinates (e.g. latitude and/or longitude) or similar information regarding the location of your mobile device. Location data may convey to ITW information about how you browse and use the App. Some features of the App, particularly location-based services, may not function properly if use or availability of location data is impaired or disabled.
Commercial and marketing communications:
ITW uses the information it collects or receives, such as your email address, to communicate directly with you. ITW may send you emails containing newsletters, promotions, and special offers. If you do not want to receive such email messages, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can request deletion of personal information using the button below. ITW may also use your information to send you Apprelated emails (e.g., account verification, purchase and billing confirmations and reminders, changes/updates to features of the App, technical and security notices). You may not opt out of App-relatedemails.
How ITW Shares or Sells Your Information
ITW may share information in the manner detailed below, but it will NOT sell any of your information to advertisers or other third-parties.
ITW’s Contractors and Vendors. ITW uses certain verified third parties for certain services such as for web hosting, data backup, and other IT services. These services help ITW provide, improve, protect, and promote the App. These third parties will access your information to perform tasks on ITW’s behalf, and ITW will remain responsible for their handling of your information per our instructions.

ITW greatly cares about the security of your information and uses commercially reasonable safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of all information collected through the App. ITW cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to ITW or guarantee that information on the App may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed. Your privacy settings may also be affected by changes to the functionality of third-party sites and services that you link or integrate with through the App, such as social networks. ITW is not responsible for the functionality or security measures of any third party.
Compromise of information:
If any information under our control is compromised as a result of a breach of security, ITW will take reasonable steps to investigate the situation and where appropriate, notify those individuals whose information may have been compromised and take other steps, in accordance with any applicable laws and regulations.
How long we keep your private profile information:
ITW may retain your information for a commercially reasonable time for backup, archival, or sales purposes.
ITW does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 18 or knowingly allow such persons to register as Users. The App and its content are not directed at children under the age of 18. If ITW learns that it has collected personal information from a child under age 18 without verification of parental consent, it will delete that information as quickly as possible.
